Did you know that one of our great cities on the eastern shore has been rank among the top 25 BEST places in the nation to retire.  This arty city and its flower-lined streets downtown were just beginning to gain national attention when in 1994 Money magazine named it the second best spot in the entire country to retire. 

This week for the second time,  Money has again picked  Fairhope among the Top 25 in the nation to live... This time we are ranked 14th.  The criteria the magazine used in this years ranking were median family income($66,965), median home price ($225,000) and of course our great temperatures (90 in July and 40 degrees in January.)  With all the amenties we offer for a city our size, it's no wonder people LOVE it here.  Money magazine says " you'll get huge bang for your buck--- plus a whole lot more".
